The fifth Sunday after Trinity
this world may be so peaceably ordered by thy governance, that thy Church may joyfully serve thee in all godly quierness, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
The Epiftle. i Peter iii. 8. BE
another: love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blefling. For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his congue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile, Let bim eschew evil, and do good; let him feek peace, and ensue it. For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers; but the face of the Lord is . against them that do evil. And who is he chat will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, peither be troubled; but fanctify the Lord God in your hearts.

Pour into our hearts such love toward thee, that we loving thee above all things, may obtain thy promises, which exceed all that we can desire, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Chrift": was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father,even so we also should walk in newness of life. and giver of all good things; Graft in our hearts Raca] Thou vile man The original word implies a charge of emptiDess, meanness, and despicableness.
Thou fool] A charge of extreme infatuation and wickedness. :
Hell-fire) Is a punishment corresponding to a death by fire in the valley of Hinnom. Jerem. vii. 31. It is here asserted that
anger, reproach, and reviling, will be punished in proportion to their guilt.

But now being made free from fin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit upro holiness, and the end everlasting life. God, whose never failing providence ordereth all
things both in heaven and earth; We humbly bcfcech thee to put away from us all hurtful things, and to give us those things which be profitable for us, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the fons of God. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if fo be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by cheir fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even fo every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit; neither can a corrapt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that faith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven , but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
