Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Seeretary of the Treasury be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to pay to the owners of the Haytian brig Margaretta, or their legal representatives, the sum of one thousand three hundred and seventy-eight dollars and seventyfive cents, the same being the amount paid by the said Robert Murray, junior, as discriminating tonnage-dues upon the Haytian brig Mar. garetta, in the years eighteen hundred and sixty-seven and eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, in contravention of the treaty then existing between the United States and the republic of Hayti.
