the stipends of the curates of the estab-
lished church in this Island," of the 17th
January 1870, entitled An "Act to pro-
vide a curate for the chapel of Saint
John Baptist in the parish of Saint

7th November 1871.... An Act to grant an annual sum of money

towards the support of the Minister of the Roman Catholic Church,

An Act to consolidate and amend the Acts of

this Island relating to the chapels of
Saint Mary, The Holy Innocents, Saint
Ann, Saint Saviour, Saint Simon, Saint
Clement, Saint Swithin, The Holy Trin-
ity, and Saint Martin.
E it enacted by the Governor, Council,

and Assembly of this Island, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

1. The chapel of St. Mary, in the city of St. Mary's Chapel Bridgetown shall be, and the same is hereby to be governed and declared to be subject to the provisions of managed in the the several Acts of this Island relating to same manner as

other Chapels. the management and government of parish churches, chapels, and other places of di: vine worship within this Island, and to the regulation of pews, seats, and sittings therein, so far as the clauses and provisions of the said several Acts extend to and affect the management and government of chapels, and the regulation of pews, seats, and sittings in the same.

of their respective parishes in the same way as the parish churches are maintained by them, anything to the contrary notwithstanding.

Repeal. 3. The several Acts mentioned in the schedule to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent mentioned provided that

(1) Any enactment or document referring to any Act or enactment hereby repealed shall be construed to refer to this Act or to the corresponding enactment in this Act.

(2.) This repeal shall not affect
(a) The past operation of any enactment

hereby repealed nor any thing duly
done or suffered under any enact-

ment hereby repealed; or (b) any right, privilege, obligation, or lia

bility acquired, accrued, or incurred under any enactment hereby repeal.
