Sir: In compliance with the provisions of law establishing the State Land Office, I have the honor to submit herewith for your consideration and for reference to the Legislature, a report of the transactions of this department for the six months ending December 31, 1914, being the seventy-third and final report of the Commissioner of the State Land Office.
The whole number of acres of all classes of land reported as
held by the State at the close of business, June 30, 1914.
The whole number of acres of all classes of lands set aside as
Forest Reserves and omitted from former reports.
The whole number of acres of all classes of lands gained through
having been omitted in former computations of plat books..
The whole number of acres of "Tax Homestead" lands deeded
to the State by the Auditor General, under the provisions
of Sec. 127, Act 206, Public Acts of 1893 and acts amendatory
thereto..
The whole number of acres of "Tax Homestead" lands that re-
verted to the State during the past six months for non-com-
pliance with the requirements of Act 206, Public Acts of 1893
and acts amendatory thereto.
The whole number of acres of land deeded to the State by in-
dividuals in exchange for other lands and now included in the
Tax homestead lands set aside for Forest Reserves..
The whole number of acres of Swamp lands patented to the
State by the United States during the six months..
The whole number of acres of Tax Homestead land entered as
homesteads by actual settlers under the provisions of Sec.
131, Act 206, Public Acts of 1893 and acts amendatory thereto
The whole number of acres of Tax Homestead lands disposed of
by exchange with individuals under the provisions of Act 193
of the Laws of 1911....
The whole number of acres of all classes of lands held by the
State at close of business December 31, 1914. .
