PREFACE.

THE period of nearly ten years, which has elapsed since the publication of the "SUMMARY OF PRACTICE," has furnished a vast amount of decision upon every point of Chancery Practice, and especially upon the General Orders which were issued on the 3rd April, 1828, and those which have been since issued, especially the Orders of the 26th August last.

The object of this little Work is to give shortly the effect of these decisions, under such an arrangement as is most likely to catch the eye of the Practitioner. This publication is confined almost entirely to mere Practice, although some points of Pleading,―chiefly those affected by the Orders
