The annual meeting of the Bar Association of the 6th Supreme Judicial District of Illinois was held at the Freeport Country Club, Freeport, Illinois, Friday September 16, 1927. The meeting was called to order by President C. W. Middlekauff of Freeport, and addresses were made by Chief Justice Oscar E. Heard, Freeport, J. C. Seyster, Oregon, John F. Voigt, Chicago, and Judge Frederic R. DeYoung. The Chairman appointed a nominating committee composed of Judge John C. Newhall, William Leach and Harry North to present to the Association nominees for officers for the coming year and the place of meeting, and the committee returned a report which was unanimously adopted as follows:
