in the manner as prescribed by an act entitled "An act to regulate elections," and a certificate of the result, showing the number of votes in favor of and against roads, shall be signed by the board of election and within five days thereafter be delivered to the county clerk of said county of Mercer, to be filed; and further provided, that the clerk of the township shall publish the result of said election within ten days in the Princeton Press, a newspaper published in said township.

6. And be it enacted, That all acts or parts of acts inconsistent with the provisions of this act, be and the same are hereby repealed.

7. And be it enacted, That this act shall be a public act, and take effect immediately. Approved March 27, 1874.

CHAPTER CCCCXLVII.

A further supplement to the supplements to "An act to divide the township of North Bergen," approved March eighteenth, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

Preamble. WHEREAS, the township committee of the township of North Bergen have in pursuance of the several special acts of the legislature, caused a certain public street or highway in said township, called Hamblet Place, to be graded and otherwise improved, and have caused an assessment to be made of the costs and expenses of such improvement, as directed and provided in and by said several acts of the legislature, and have duly confirmed said assessment; and whereas, some of the persons interested in the lands and real estate so assessed for said improvement allege that said assessment is informal and wrong for the reason that the commissioners who made the said assessment have on the map presented with the said assessment to said township committee laid out the lots of land so assessed by them at right angles to said street, which said lots of land have been on a map thereof, filed in the office of the clerk of

A further supplement to an act entitled "An act concerning corporations," approved the fourteenth day of February, one thousand eight hundred and forty-six.
