S. boundary of the Owerri District that lies between Imo
River and a point 1 miles N.W. of Omanelu.

S. by the sea.

E. by a line drawn from the E. extremity of the N. boundary down the right bank of the Imo River to a point on the Imo River 1 mile N. of Obiama, thence by a straight line to the E. extremity of the N. boundary of the Bonny District. Thence down the W. boundary of the Bonny District.

W. by a line drawn from the W. extremity of the N. boundary down the left bank of the Engenni River to a point on that river 2 miles N.W. of Ogulum, thence down the E. boundary of the Brass District to the Santa Barbara River, the left bank of which it follows to the sea.

15. ABA DISTRICT bounded on the N. by a straight line drawn from the Omobe crossing on the Imo River in a S.E. direction to the Kwa Ibo River at a point 1 miles S.E. of Ibon.

S. by a straight line drawn from Ogonyon in an E. direction to a point on the Imo River 1 mile above its junction with the Azumini Creek, thence in a N.E. direction towards the Kwa Ibo River to a point 1 mile N. of Nta Oko. Thence in a S.E. direction to the W. extremity of the N. boundary of the Uyo District.

E. by a line drawn from the E. extremity of the N. boundary down the right bank of the Kwa Ibo River as far as a point on that river 3 miles due W. of Ibiagu. Thence in a straight line to the E. extremity of the S. boundary.

W. by a line drawn from the W. extremity of the N. boundary down the left bank of the Imo River to a point 1 mile N. of Obiama. Thence in a straight line to the W. extremity of the S. boundary.

16. OPOBO DISTRICT bounded on the N. by the S. boundary of the Aba District.

S. by the sea.

E. by the W. boundaries of the Uyo and Eket Districts.
W. by a straight line drawn from the W. extremity of the
N. boundary to a point 2 miles due N. of Bolo. Thence
down the left bank of the Andoni River to the sea.

(3) The Central Province shall include the following districts, viz. :

1. ABO DISTRICT bounded on the N. by a straight line drawn from a point 1 mile W. of Umusadari, due E. to the W. extremity of the N. boundary of Owerri District.

S. by the N. boundary of the Brass District.

E. by the W. boundary of the Owerri District as far as a point on the Orashi River 3 miles N.W. of Oguta, thence

down the right bank of the Orashi River to the E. SCHEDULE IV.
extremity of the S. boundary.

W. by a straight line drawn from the W. extremity of the
N. boundary to a point 4 miles due E. of Abbi. Thence
in a straight line to Emunu, thence in a straight line to
Owe, thence in a straight line to a point mile S.E. of
Uduele, thence in a straight line to a point on the
Forcados River 1 mile S.W. of Pakiama, thence down
the left bank of the Bamodiggi Creek to the W. extremity
of the S. boundary.

2. ASABA DISTRICT bounded on the N. by a straight line drawn
from a point mile S.E. of Oria to a point immediately
below Illushi.

S. by that part of the N. boundary of the Abo District that
lies to the W. of the River Niger.

E. by a line drawn from the E. extremity of the N.
boundary down the right bank of the River Niger to the
E. extremity of the S. boundary.

W. by an are drawn from the W. extremity of the N.
boundary through points 2 miles 13 miles and 1 mile,
respectively E. of the towns of Ekeke, Ekobiaja, and
Imu, through Obrubru, to a point mile S. of Abo.
Thence by a straight line drawn due S. to a point mile
due E. of Igbodo. Thence in a S.S.W. direction to the
W. extremity of the S. boundary.

3. ONITSHA DISTRICT bounded on the N. by a straight line
drawn from a point on the left bank of the River Niger,
due E. of Illushi in a N.E. direction to a point mile
due S. of Ogrugru. Thence in a line drawn due E. to
Long. 7° 30 E.

S. by a straight line drawn from Akri Atani on the left
bank of the River Niger, along that portion of the N.
boundary of the Abo District that lies to the E. of the River
Niger and the N. boundaries of the Owerri and Bende
Districts to the E. extremity of the N. boundary of the
Bende District.

E. by a line drawn from the E. extremity of the N.
boundary along meridian 7° 30' E. to the E. extremity
of the S. boundary.

W. by a line drawn from the W. extremity of the N.
boundary down the left bank of the River Niger to the
W. extremity of the S. boundary.

4. IDAH DISTRICT bounded on the N. by the Northern Nigeria
boundary.

S. by the N. boundaries of the Asaba and Onitsha Districts.
E. by a line drawn from the E. extremity of the N. boundary
of the Onitsha District along meridian 7° 30′ E. to the
Northern Nigeria boundary.

W. by a straight line drawn from a point 1 mile W. of
Aushi on the Northern Nigeria boundary, to a point

SCHEDULE IV.

1 mile N.E. of Ibieh. Thence to a point mile due E. of Osea and thence to the W. extremity of the S. boundary. 5. FORCADOS DISTRICT bounded on the N. by a line drawn from the mouth of the Escravos River along its left bank to Rugged Point, thence by a straight line to the mouth of Holt Creek.

S. by that portion of the W. boundary of the Brass District that lies between a point 5 miles S.S.E. of Ojoba and

the sea.

E. by a straight line drawn from the E. extremity of the
N. boundary to the most E. point of Penfold Island.
Thence to the E. extremity of the S. boundary.

W. by the sea.

6. WARRI DISTRICT bounded on the N. by a line drawn from Rugged Point along the left bank of the Warri Creek to the junction of the latter with the Benin Creek. From this point by a straight line drawn in an E. direction to a point immediately below Jamogar, thence in a S.E. direction to a point mile N.W. of Gt. Ogebe, thence due E. to the W. boundary of the Abo District.

S. by that portion of the W. boundary of the Brass District that lies between the W. extremity of the N. boundary of the Brass District and a point 5 miles S.S.E. of Ojoba.

E. by a line drawn from the E. extremity of the N. boundary down the W. boundary of the Abo District to the mouth of the Bamodiggi Creek, thence down the right bank of this creek to the E. extremity of the S. boundary.

W. by the E. boundary of the Forcados District.

7. SAPELE DISTRICT bounded on the N. by a line drawn from
the junction of the Lagos and the Addabrassa Creek to
Gokrodo on the Ologi Creek along the left bank of the
Ologi Creek to a point mile due N. of Siri, thence in a
straight line to a point on the Jamieson River immedi-
ately above Upekeli, thence by a line drawn in a S.E.
direction to a point 8 miles due W. of Obiaraku.
S. by a line drawn from the mouth of the Escravos River
up the right bank of that river and the Warri Creek to
the junction of the latter with the Benin Creek. Thence
along the N. boundary of the Warri District to a point
1 miles to the N.E. of Akwaho.

E. by a straight line drawn from the E. extremity of the
N. boundary to a point immediately to the E. of Okpara
on the Ethiope River. Thence to the E. extremity of

the S. boundary.

W. by the sea and by the boundary of the Lagos Protectorate as it existed on the 1st January, 1906.

8. BENIN DISTRICT bounded on the N. by a line drawn in an E. direction from a point on the Ofushu River 3 miles due

E. of Orri Fu Fu to a point on the Ogbese River 5 miles SCHEDULE IV. W.S.W. of Oko Aribo. Thence down the right bank of the River Ogbese to its confluence with the River Osse, thence along the left bank of the River Osse to its junction with the River Owon, thence to a point mile S. of Uyere, thence to a point 5 miles W.S.W. of Ojalla. S. by the N. boundary of the Sapele District. E. by a straight line drawn from the E. extremity of the N. boundary to a point on the Otium River 5 miles E. of Ugo, thence to a point 6 miles W.N.W. of Igbaki. Thence down the right bank of that creek into which the River Sanegha flows to a point 3 miles due E. of Ojah. Thence to Long. 6° E. at a point 2 miles S.W. of Ojah. Thence to a point mile N.E. of Uswonigbi. Thence to the E. extremity of the S. boundary.

W. by the Lagos boundary, as above defined.

9. IFON DISTRICT bounded on the N. by the Northern Nigeria boundary.

S. by the N. boundary of the Benin District, thence by a
straight line drawn from the E. extremity of this
boundary to a point mile due S. of Orada, thence
to a point immediately above Ewu, thence to a point
immediately above Atuabo, thence to a point immediately
above Afuda, thence to a point 14 miles W. of Ebure,
thence to a point 13 miles N.E. of Ugboha.

E. by a line drawn from the E. extremity of the N.
boundary down the W. boundary of the Idah District
to the E. extremity of the S. boundary.

W. by the Lagos boundary, as above defined.

10. ISHAN DISTRICT bounded on the N. by that part of the S. boundary of the Ifon District that lies between its E. extremity and the E. extremity of the N. boundary of the Benin District.

S. by a straight line drawn from a point on the Otium River 5 miles E. of Ugo in an E. direction to a point on the Ondia-Obrubru road, 4 mile W. of Obrubru.

E. by that portion of the W. boundaries of the Idah and Asaba Districts that lies between the E. extremities of the N. and S. boundaries.

W. by a straight line drawn from the W. extremity of the N. boundary to the W. extremity of the S. Boundary. 11. AGBOR DISTRICT bounded on the N. by the S. boundary of the Ishan District.

S. by a straight line drawn from a point mile N.E. of
Uswonigbi to the point at which the Adofi River inter-
sects the W. boundary of the Asaba District.

E. by a line drawn from the E. extremity of the N.
boundary along the W. boundary of the Asaba District
to the E. extremity of the S. boundary.

W. by a line drawn from the W. extremity of the N.

SCHEDULE IV.

boundary along the E. boundary of the Benin District to that creek into which the River Sanegha flows, down the left bank of that creek to a point 34 miles due E. of Ojah, thence along the E. boundary of the Benin District to the W. extremity of the S. boundary.

12. KWALE DISTRICT bounded on the N. by the S. boundary of the Agbor District.

S. by that part of the N. boundary of the Warri District that lies between the W. boundary of the Abo District and a point 1 miles N.E. of Akwaho.

E. by a line drawn from the E. extremity of the N. boundary along the W. boundaries of the Asaba and Abo Districts to the E. extremity of the S. boundary.

W. by a line drawn from the W. extremity of the N. boundary along the E. boundaries of the Benin and Sapele Districts to the W. extremity of the S. boundary.

1. The Western Province.

Lagos. The first Monday in January, April, July and
October.

Abeokuta. The first Monday in February, May, August
and November.

Ibadan. The second Monday in February, May, August and November.

2. The Central Province.

Warri. The first Monday in January and July.
Asaba. The third Monday in January and July.

Benin City. The second Monday in February and August.
Sapele. The second Monday in April and October.

3. The Eastern Province.

Calabar. The first Monday in January and July.
Opobo. The first Monday in February and August.
Bonny. The second Monday in February and August.
Arochuku. The first Monday in April and October.

Brass.

Degema.

Owerri.

Afikpo.

Obubra.

Ikom.

Commencing the first Monday in May and
November.*

Commencing the first Monday in June and
December.*

Assizes may be held at all or any one of these places as the presiding judge may think fit.
