To continue an Act for authorizing the Applica-
tion of Highway Rates to Turnpike Roads.

HEREAS an Act was passed in the fifth year of the reign Preamble: 4 & 5 Vict. of Her Majesty, intituled, "An Act to authorize for One c. 59. Year, and until the End of the then next Session of Parliament, an Application of a Portion of the Highway Rates to Turnpike Roads in certain Cases," which Act has been continued by sundry Acts until the First day of October in the year One thousand eight hundred and Forty-eight, and to the End of the then next Session of Parliament; and it is expedient that the same be further continued; B it Enacted, by The QUEEN's most Excellent MAJESTY, by and with 10 the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, THAT the said Act shall be continued until the First day of October in the year One thousand eight hundred and Fortynine, and to the End of the then next Session of Parliament.
