Provide for the Union of the Universities of King's

College and Marischal College, Aberdeen.

HEREAS it is expedient, for the Advancement of Religion Preamble. and Learning, that the University and King's College of

Aberdeen, erected in the Year One thousand four hundred and ninety-four, and the University and Marischal College of Aber5 deen, erected in the Year One thousand five hundred and ninety-three,

should be united into One University, and that Provision should be made for the good Government of the said University and the Colleges thereof, and for maintaining and improving the Discipline

and Studies of the said University and Colleges : Be it enacted by 10 by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and

Consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the Authority of the same, as follows :
