Elizabeth McMurray, widow of Police Officer Hammersly McMurray, under Section 4, of Chapter X of Article VIII of the Charter. Amount per month $60.00. The following Police Officers were granted rewards for merritorious conduct during the fiscal year 1909-1910:

Mayor, in and for the City and County of San Francisco.

Dear Sir:

In compliance with Section 9, Article XVI, of the Charter of the City and County of San Francisco, I submit herewith the annual report of the offic. of County Clerk, for the fiscal year 1909-1910.

As to the condition and conduct of the office of County Clerk, I attach and make a part hereof, excerpts from the report of the Grand Jury, in and for the City and County of San Francisco, for the years 1909-1910.

As may be seen by reference to the Financial Statement hereto attached, the office has not only been self-sustaining during my incumbency, but for the first time in its history has been a source of great profit to the City and County, earning in excess of running expenses the sum of $276,396.85.
