The Company have prepared $3,500,000 of 1st mortgage 6 per cent. gold bonds, payable to contractors as the work progresses.

Line of Road.-Missouri line, via Little Rock and Fulton, to Texas line.300 m. This road is an extension of the Cairo and Fulton Railroad of Missouri across the State of Arkansas to the Texas line. That portion of the road in Missouri was sold by the State to the St. Louis and Iron Mountain Railroad Company. The Cairo and Fulton is a land-grant railroad, having under the act of Congress, passed July 28, 1866, ten sections, or 6.400 acres to the mile of road. The whole line is under contract, but no part has yet been completed. The Company intend to issue bonds to the extent of $5,000,000, and they will have the benefit of State aid to the extent of $10,000 per mile.
