The preferred stock has been increased by $360,000, on account of the Louisville Branch, and much of the increase in the consolidated bonds, and also in the tempo porary loan account is due on the same.

[The trustees of creditors and stockholders of the “Ohio and Mississippi Railroad Company" (Eastern Division), appointed under an Agreement made December 15, 1868, for the capitalization and protection of certain interests in said Company," having purchased, at a public sale made on the 9th day of January, 1867, under a decree of the United States Circuit Court, upon foreclosure of the second mortgage, all the real and personal estate and franchises, and all benefit and equity of redemption of the said Railroad Company therein, extending from Cincinnati to Vincennes, a new company was organized on the 18th day of November, 1867, under the corporate name of the "Ohio and Mississippi Railway Company of Ohio and Indiana." And the said trustees having previously purchased the property of the Ohio and Mississippi Railway Company of Illinois (Western Division), extending from Vincennes to East St. Louis, the two divisions were reorganized and consolidated on the 18th day of December, 1867, under the corporate name of the "Ohio and Mississippi Railway Company," extending from Cincinnati to East St. Louis, a distance of 340 miles, and the whole line is now under one management and control.] Directors (elected October 15,1869).—William D. It is now being constructed under new auspices. The present Company have mortgaged the road for $16,000 per mile, and it is intended to have it completed during the current year. The bonds issued under this mortgage are sinking fund 7 per cent., principal and interest payable in coin, interest, May and November.

A Company, under the title of the Hackensack and New York Extension Railroad Company, is at work extending this road to a junction with the Erie Railway at the New York State Line. MOBILE AND ALABAMA GRAND TRUNK RR. (Projected).

Line of Road.-Mobile, Ala., via Marion to Elyton, Ala........ ..240 miles. At Elyton the road will form direct connection with the Alabama and Chattanooga, the South and North Alabama and the other roads already constructed or in course of construction, and a branch of 40 miles to Selma will connect with the Selma, Rome and Dalton Railroad.

The Company will be entitled under Internal Improvement Act to an endorsement by the State of their 1st mortgage bonds to the extent of $16,000 per mile on completion of 20 miles of road; and the City of Mobile has authorized the issue of $1,500,000 in bonds bearing 8 per cent. interest. The city bonds are issued to the order of the Grand Trunk Co., and are endorsed and guaranteed by said Company.
