The Company also own a large amount of other stationary and moveable property, viz. :

In use of Transportation Department-43 steam engines for shops, pumping and sawing iron; 7 snow plows, 25 carts, wagons and drays; 194 horses and mules; 18 extra tenders for locomotives.

In use of Roadway Department--5 steam engines at Pittstown shops; 1 waterwheel and pump at Norristown; 5 portable engines and pumps; 9 lumber and stone trucks; 4 carts; 1 dredging machine; 16 scows and 3 skiffs.

The number of locomotive engines and cars (reduced to 4-wheel) in use on all the roads of the Company on the 30th November yearly, for the last eight years, was as follows:

Coal moved, 4,239,457 tons (2,240 lbs.); moved one mile, 422,575,540 tons.
Materials for use of road hauled, 337,117 tons (2,000 lbs.)

Total tonnage, including weight of passengers, 6,667,190 tons (2,000 lbs.) Gross earnings-passenger, $1,184,006 33; freight, $1,579,622 53; coal, $8,346,240 15; U. S. mail, $29,169 87; sundries, $69,342 30; and balance of interest, $66,859 49-total, $11,275,240 67.
