"Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.-S. John iii. 5.

SAVIOUR, Thy grace on each
As dew hath fallen down:

Impart Thy strength to win at last
A Saint's enduring crown.

That Sacramental rite

Received in infant years,

Hast Thou ordained through Thine Own Church To wash away their tears,

To mark them as Thine Own,

To guard them with Thy love,

To guide them in the narrow path
That leads to Heaven above.
Give strength to keep their vows,
As sunbeams shed Thy grace,
That they may stand with Holy Saints
Hereafter face to face!

Prayer.

"Evening, and morning, and at noon will I pray.' Psalm lv. 17.

PRAY, when the golden sunbeams rise
So gloriously at dawn!

Pray, when rich sunset tints the skies,
Or Night's dark veil is drawn!

The lark which basks his quivering wing
Trills forth a thousand lays,
The air appears with joy to ring
With notes of holy praise.

As each bright morning sun appears
GOD showers new blessings down,
On some bestowing new-born years
Their earthly course to crown.

So, pray, when golden sunbeams shine,
Or spread is Night's dark pall,
Faith and Repentance intertwine,
Then shalt thou conquer all!
