Fixing the times of holding the Court of Common Pleas in the seventh Judicial

Circuit.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Seventh Judi Ohio, That the courts of common pleas shall hereafter be cial circuit. held in the several counties of the seventh judicial circuit, at

the several terms herein prescribed, namely:

In the county of Butler, on the 24th day of February, 26th day of May, and 6th day of October.

In the county of Greene, on the 10th day of March, 9th day of June, and 27th day of October.

In the county of Clinton, on the seventh day of April, eleventh day of August, and the twenty-fourth day of November.

In the county of Warren, on the 24th day of March, 28th day of July, and the tenth day of November.

SEC. 2. Should any day named in the first section of this act for the holding of said court fall upon Sunday, the said court shall commence and be holden upon the next day; and the act passed February 28, 1850, fixing the times of holding the courts of common pleas in the seventh judicial circuit, be, and the same is hereby repealed.

AN ACT

Amending an act fixing the time of holding the Court of Common Pleas in the seventh Judicial Circuit, for the year 1851.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, That the spring term of the said court in the county of Butler, shall commence on the nineteenth day of May, instead of the twenty-sixth; and that the fall term of the said court in the said county, shall commence on the twenty-second of September, in place of the sixth of October, as specified in the said act.

Fixing the times of holding the Courts of Common Pleas in the eighth Judicial Circuit.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of cial circuit. Ohio, That the court of common pleas shall be hereafter held in the several counties of the eighth judicial circuit, as follows, to-wit:

In the county of Athens, on the first Tuesday of March, the third Tuesday in May, and the first Tuesday in September. In the county of Vinton, on the third Tuesday in March, fourth Tuesday in May, and the third Monday in September. In the county of Meigs, on the fourth Monday in March, first Monday in June, and the fourth Monday in Septem

ber.

In the county of Washington, on the second Tuesday in April, second Tuesday in June, and the third Wednesday in October.

In the county of Morgan, on the third Monday in April, fourth Monday in June, and the fourth Monday in October.

To fix the time for holding the Court of Common Pleas in the county of Noble, in the Eighth Judicial Circuit, for the year 1851.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, That the Court of Common Pleas, for the county of Noble, for the year 1851, shall be holden at the times following: The Summer term on the nineteenth day of June; the Fall term on the ninth day of November.

AN ACT

To extend the January term of the Court of Common Pleas, in Hamilton county, A. D. 1851, and to alter the time of holding the February term in said year, and for other purposes.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, That the term of January in this year, of the court of common pleas, within and for the county of Hamilton, shall, and the same is hereby extended two weeks longer than is now allowed by law, for the trial of criminal causes, and other matters now by law cognizable at said January term. SLC. 2. That the February term of said court, in said be, and the same is hereby so altered as to commence on Monday, February 17th, A. D. 1851, to which day all process of whatsoever kind or description, which is now by law returnable to the first day of said term, as heretofore fixed by law, shall be returned; and all such process hereafter issued, shall be returnable on said Monday, Feb. 17th, A. D. 1851; provided, that such process as is now by law returnable on the third Monday of said February term, shall be returned on the third Monday of said February term, as hereby altered; and, provided further, that all process issued during said term so altered, and which is now by the law and usage of said court returnable forthwith, shall be returned forthwith during said February term.

AN ACT

To facilitate the administration of justice in the county of Hamilton.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, That the court of common pleas and the Superior Court of Cincinnati, in the county of Hamilton, for the transaction of civil business solely, may continue in session so long as the business thereof respectively may require, and may adjourn from time to time, as may be necessary for the convenient dispatch of business; and it shall, and may be lawful for said courts respectively, to order and direct that any civil case or cases pending in either of said courts, shall be especially set for trial or hearing on any day or days during the term, so as to avoid the unnecessary attendance of parties or witnesses, or to facilitate the business of said courts respectively, and to accommodate the same to that of other

courts.

SEC. 2. That the said courts may, if they deem necessary, at their next and succeeding terms, continue the trial of cases from the point reached at the present term, up to the number of all the cases now at issue in said courts, before re-commencing the trials according to existing laws.

AN ACT

Fixing the times of holding the Courts of Common Pleas in the tenth Judicial Circuit.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of Ohio, That the Courts of Common Pleas shall hereafter be held annually, in the several counties in the tenth judicial circuit, at the times hereafter described, to-wit:-The first term of said court, in each year, shall be commenced and held in the county of Adams, on the first Tuesday in March; in the county of Fayette, on the third Tuesday in March; in the county of Clermont, on the fourth Tuesday in March; in the county of Highland, on the third Tuesday in April; and in the county of Brown, on the fifth Tuesday in April.

SEC. 2. That the second term of said court shall be commenced and held in the county of Adams, on the first Tuesday in July; in the county of Fayette, on the third Tuesday in July; in the county of Clermont, on the fifth Tuesday in July; in the county of Highland, on the third Tuesday in

August; and in the county of Brown, on the first Tuesday in September.

SEC. 3. That the third term of said court shall be commenced and held in the county of Adams, on the fourth Tuesday in September; in the county of Fayette, on the first Tuesday in October; in the county of Clermont, on the third Tuesday in October; in the county of Highland, on the second Tuesday in November; and in the county of Brown, on the fourth 'Tuesday in November; Provided, however, that when there shall not be five Tuesdays in April, the court in Brown county shall commence two weeks after the commencement of the court in Highland county; or when there shall not be five Tuesdays in July, the court in Clermont county shall commence two weeks after the commencement in Fayette county.

SEC. 4. That all acts, and parts of acts, inconsistent with this act, be, and the same are hereby repealed.

SEC. 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State Eleventh Juof Ohio, That the Court of Common Pleas for the eleventh dicial circuit. Judicial Circuit, shall hereafter be held in the several coun

ties thereof, at the times following, to wit:

SEC. 2. In the county of Holmes, on the 3d Monday of January, the 3d Monday in April, and the 1st Monday in September.

In the county of Ashland, on the 2d Monday of February, the 1st Monday in May, and the 3d Monday of September.

In the county of Medina, on the 1st Monday of March, the 3d Monday in May, and the 1st Monday in October. In the county of Wayne, on the 3d Monday of March, the 1st Monday of June, and the 4th Monday of October. SEC. 3. That if the Court in any county, shall not have finished its business before the time prescribed for holding the Court in any other county of said circuit, the Court may continue its term for the purpose of transacting probate and testamentary business, granting letters of guardianship, fin
