Through the State Vocational Board an operation was secured, an artificial limb was provided, and he was given a business course. He is now earning one hundred fifteen dollars per month and has a good chance for promotion. Crippled by rheumatism at eight years of age, this man at age twentytwo was earning about twenty-five dollars per month, doing odd jobs in gun repairing. After receiving training as a cobbler and gun repairer, he has acquired a partnership in a repair shop where his income has increased to seventy-five dollars per month. |
