The circumstance of my removal from Tuscaloosa to the city of Mobile, shortly after the printing of this volume was commenced, which almost prevented even an occasional superintendence of its execution; together with some unexpected difficulties in the way of the printer, who contracted to do the work, must form my apology with the profession and the public, for the great delay in its publication. Unpropitious, however, as were the circumstances, under which it has been reported and published, it is believed, that upon examination, it will be found, in every respect, to be as correctly executed as either of the preceding volumes. Such errors as would readily occur to the intelligent reader, are not noticed in the appended list of errata. THE REPORTER. |
