Paul Howard Las Vegas Promoter and Talent Booking Consultant
This book was very useful to me, in utilizing my established social networks, as a Las Vegas VIP Host, event producer, and talent
booking consulant, who assists businessman and tourists, set up their itineraries with a variety of different hospitality, nightlife, transportation, and entertainment service companies for businessman and tourists alike, in Las Vegas. It not only helped enhance my visibility by introducing me to my established network's associates and friends exponentially, by their own positive feedback about my free service to patrons but also opened up other business accounts and endeavors. For instance, a few tweets weekly on about upcoming Vegas charity, nightlife, & corporate events, has gained me more friends and associates, in various circles that otherwise would not have known about me or the services I provide, that now utilize my network to enhance their experience, by allowing me to help make it "hassle free and memorable" as I like to say.

Conventional marketing no longer makes sense. Ads are costly and people are paying less attention to traditional media. Most marketers seek the young people’s market (ages 18-34), but few youthful consumers read extensively. Many viewers record TV shows and fast-forward through commercials. A lot of today’s worthiest promotion happens online. But just shifting to blasting people with ads over the Internet is a backward marketing strategy. Now you need to direct your marketing so that people will look for you online. In their book, web-marketing experts Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah show how to reach out to your market through web pages, blogs, podcasts and social networks. Halligan and Shah demonstrate that commercial success depends on developing and producing quality content online. getAbstract recommends this eye-opening report to businesses large and small, established and brand new.

I have read the Inbound Marketing book last week and I must admit it's quite inspirational. It is very easy to ready and provides a great overview of the first things to do to tap into the opportunities of inbound marketing. It helped me position the inbound marketing attributes within our total marketing mix.

One of the best marketing books I have ever read. "Inbound Marketing" explains why companies should change their old marketing method to new media marketing and it answers all the how questions that you stuck right now. Also it explains not only the things you should understand, but also teaches each steps as well as their unique examples. I'm definitely sure you'll enjoy. Good luck!
