to be remolded, or reborn with higher ideas if you want to see the Kingdom of God.

Perhaps Jesus saw that Nicodemus expected to have the Kingdom pointed out to his physical senses, and so Jesus said, If you want to see Heaven or the place where God reigns, you must be born again or from above. Nicodemus caught the word born and asked, How can a man be born when he is old? Jesus then came out a little plainer or more explicitly and said, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.

In the first place he told him, Except a man be born anew, he cannot see the Kingdom of God, and then, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom.

It was one step to see the Kingdom, and another to enter into It. One sees anything before they go in and possess it. Moses saw the Promised Land from afar. If he had obeyed the commands more explicitly, he could have entered into It.

He brings or brought the faithful up to the place where they took hold of the promises or entered into the Land of Promise. If he had stuck to the Word he too would have not only seen, but entered into.

The power there is in the spoken Word; speak the Word of Truth, and everything will begin to show it.

Jesus goes on to explain to Nicodemus that like produces like, that which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Flesh does not produce Spirit, nor Spirit, flesh. If one's desires and thoughts are on fleshly desires, passions, appetites, then fleshly conditions will be produced, or one will see those things.

That which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Do not suppose that you can mix these two conditions; you can't. Perhaps this is what the Master of Life meant when he said to us, Do not commit adultery. Don't attempt to mix Spirit and flesh together and expect to get either one or the other you will get mixed results.

Either serve God or mammon-don't be lukewarm ; either be hot or cold; flesh is one thing and Spirit another. You may attenuate and dilute medicines and mixtures as much as you like; the last will be somewhat like the first, That which is born of the flesh will be flesh still, and that which is born of the Spirit will be Spirit.

Don't be astonished that I said unto you, you must be born anew or have a new birth or come into the knowledge that Spirit is All. The wind bloweth where it will and you hear the voice or sound thereof, but know not whence it cometh or whither it goeth. So is every one that is born of the Spirit.

We can hear the Voice of every one that is born of the Spirit, but can't tell whence It cometh or whither It goeth. Listen for the Voice, for it's likened to the wind, you can hear the sound but can't anaylize. This made a deep impression on Nicodemus, for he said, How can these things be?

Jesus said unto him, Art thou the teacher of Israel and understandest not these things, or do you pretend to be the teacher of the people and don't know these things? Verily, Verily, I say unto thee we speak that we do know and bear witness of that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. Or we speak of things we have known and seen and are not believed. These are earthly things I have been telling you about but you don't seem to understand them, how shall ye believe if I tell you of heavenly things?

No man hath ascended into Heaven, but he that descended out of Heaven, even the Son of man, which is in Heaven.

Earthly things cannot ascend, don't attempt to take earthly things along with you into Heaven, or the Spiritual Condition. Except a man leave all that he hath he cannot be a disciple of Truth.

In being reborn or regenerated one sees, hears, feels, etc., very differently from what he did before, or there is no rebirth or renewing. It would be the same state as before, for that which is born of the flesh is flesh. In being regenerated or born from above, we see things with new eyes, hear things with new ears, speak with new tongues.

As we are born into the knowledge that in Truth we are Spirit, that we are not flesh but Spirit: Life seems to flood us: we rise to new and higher thoughts: old things and old thoughts have passed away and new ideas take possession of us.

We find that the thing we see with the eye of flesh, is not the thing we see with the eye of Spirit. The things we hear with the ear of Spirit are not the things we hear with the ear of flesh. If we are reborn we put these things away. As Paul says, When I was a child I was amused with childish things, but now that I am a man, I have put away childish things.

Like the Children of Israel, we are coming into the Promised Land, a land flowing with milk and honey. Abraham, Isaac and Jacob saw the Promised Land, and in a degree entered into and took possession of It.

We are all the Children of Faith, the Faithful, the ones that are full of Faith; and as we see the Truth, or the Promised Land, we enter into our possession; as we are born anew, or have and allow new thoughts to be born in us, o dwell in us we begin to see the Promised Land, the Kingdom of God.

The Master tells us, like Nicodemus, we must be born. anew, or have new thoughts, new ideas, true ideas, before

we can see the Truth. We are taught to entertain strangers and even enemies, even those that we distrust, for many have thereby entertained Angels. Entertained Angels.

Let us always be prepared to receive the company of Angels; let us keep our dwelling place, the Temple of God, in such shape that Angels will delight to come and dwell with us, and in us: and that the Son of Purity may come and sup with us, at any time, at all time, for all time.

If God is Ever-present with us, if God is Every-where, then let us open the door to Him-open the door of our hearts to His messengers, be prepared for a visit from the Pure, from the Most High. In such an hour as we think not perhaps He will come and knock. We will always be prepared for Him, we will always be ready to receive strangers if they come in peace.

We need not be afraid of being deceived as to the King's Messengers or as to the Message; for none can be deceived unless they are attempting to deceive. He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity. He that leadeth out of captivity shall go out of captivity. Are, any attempting to deceive, they are the first that will be deceived, for they have dug a pit to ensnare some one else, and they will fall into it themselves.

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness; even so must the Son of man be lifted up. The serpent seems to be likened to the flesh, and our thoughts must be lifted up or out of the flesh to the true conditions, so that whosoever believeth or knoweth the Truth will have Eternal Life; or as in Adam, error, flesh all die, so in Christ, Truth, Spirit, all shall be made alive.

We lose the idea that the flesh is us, and as we do that we are regenerated, re-born. We may pass through that condition called death, one way or another, but we shall

have to know that there is no death, or we would not be conscious that we were reborn or born anew.

We must absolutely know that we are regenerated. ·That we have passed out of the fleshly passions, appetites, desires, tastes, and come into that land of the blessed, into the peace that passeth all understanding.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on Him should not perish, but should have Eternal Life. The only begotten Son is Spirit, Truth, Life, the only begotten or only Son of God,-we are all his Sons and Daughters. O let us go in and take of our inheritance.

Let us be reborn, born again-born to a knowledge that God is our Father, the only Father-Mother we have or possibly can have. As God is our Father-Mother, so we are the Son-Daughter. And whosoever knows this will not perish, knows they will not perish. Whether they know it or don't know it, they will not perish; but if they know it, then they know that they will not perish, but will have eternal Life; will be continually being reborn, or new ideas will be continually surging over them, for God giveth not the Spirit in a limited degree. He has poured out upon his Children all his blessings, and as fast as we will, we take.

We need not keep anything back for a surprise or for a special occasion; pour out your best and you will get more. Do as you would have God do to you. He will do to you just as you act to his other heirs, for God did not send us, to judge whether they or any one was prepared or ready, but to give out the glad news, shout the glad tidings.

God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him, and his message to us was to go and do likewise. We are not to
