material body and a spiritual body, so there seem to be material senses and spiritual senses; and as the material body is but a representative of the spiritual body, so the material senses are only representative of the spiritual

senses.

I will be in that place where my name is recorded. We are always recording God's name. We are always recording Good, Truth, Life, Love, Charity, Mercy, Spirit, Knowledge, Intelligence, Mind; for God is where his name. is recorded. We are not recording any name but that of the Eternal One. We are not covering over his name with any other, if we have seemed to do so we are not going to do so any more. We are writing his name in our conscious mind until unconsciously it becomes second nature for us to keep on reproducing it.

As we keep on recording the name of God, everything that God has done and said will begin to show forth. Life, Health, Strength and Peace; Life Eternal will show: and if we record any names contrary to God's names, the things contrary to what God has said and done will begin to show.

He taught me also and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not, neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principle thing, therefore get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to

thee.

What wisdom is this we are to get?

:

What understanding is this that is so necessary for us?

It is the rightness of God, the understanding of God, the thinking as God thinks, the seeing as God sees; the hearing as God hears.

If God is too pure to behold iniquity, why should we behold it?

Can we see better than God?

Can we understand better than the one that created us?

Have we any right to imagine anything different from what it really is?

If so then we must be a law unto ourselves and so make void the law of God?

If man is not sufficient to think anything for himself, why doesn't he stop doing so, and accept God's words? As he does, everything begins to come out right. All he has to do, is to let his own rightness or righteousness go, and take the righteousness or rightness of God.

Righteousness means, Purity of heart and rectitude of life; conformity of heart and life to the divine law. The Lord our righteousness.

Paul was endeavoring to get them to know the Truth, get them into understanding. He says, Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved; for I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, that the man which doeth these things shall live by them. But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, who shall ascend into Heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from

above): Or, who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead). But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.

As we take God's Word and hold to it everything begins to come around as it ought. Hold to it through thick and thin, hold on for dear life, for there is Life and Health and Strength in the Words of Truth.

Look to God alone; don't look to anyone else or anything else. Don't lean on your teachers or healers any more than on any other thing that is mortal. Don't lean on Jesus, the man; lean on Christ, the God. Separate the man from the idea he represents. Lean on the God of him, not on the man of him; the Spirit, not the flesh; the Immortal, not the mortal.

Understand him when he says, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, that he was not talking of the flesh and blood. He was never talking of the flesh and bones or of material things, he was always talking of spiritual things, he was talking of the Truth and never of the error.

Study his Words and you will find that you will have the same understanding that he had. Study Moses' Words and you will understand the Truth, for Moses spake of the Truth. Reading is merely tasting; as we taste of anything we want more, if we find it pleasant and agreeable. And by studying their Words, we let their Words abide in us, and as long as we let their Words abide in us we let their Spirit dwell in us. And as we do, we find that Life comes and dwells with us, Peace comes and is to be found with us, Happiness is our constant companion, Joy will never leave us nor forsake us, Health will spring forth abundantly wherever we go.

We need not talk so very much about these things, but if we talk at all it will be on this subject, for it's out of

the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaketh. He talks best who puts these things into practice. As we hunger and thirst for rightness we shall be filled. Do you know what it is to hunger and thirst for health, strength, peace? Well, these are signs that you are getting into an understanding of God.

It seems to be, that when we don't have anything, that it is then we prize it. Anything that we have and don't prize is very apt to be taken away until such time as we can prize it.

Prize everything good, pure, happy, harmonious and true that comes unto your life. Hunt for the sunshine, hunt for the flowers, hunt for the pleasant places and you will begin to be astonished at how very much you have got to be thankful for; and much more pleasure and happiness will begin to come to you, for to him that hath more shall be given, and from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he seemeth to have.

Don't hunt for disagreeable things, don't see them, refuse to recognize them, don't be on speaking terms with anything that you don't want to be like; stare it out of countenance, refuse to make the acquaintance of anything .that shows contrary to what is desired.

Refuse to acknowledge there is any such thing as evil, because if you admit it in any form, it is liable to get a hold in that way in you. If you know that God, Good, is everywhere present, then to speak of evil at all except to deny it, is to give it standing room somewhere. And it will soon show forth in detail, in something that is not desired; in sickness or trouble or unhappiness or misery. Don't believe it at all, know there is but One and that its name is Good.

Don't prize flesh and blood, prize Spirit. Why are children, husband and wife, friends separated? Because

they are prizing, worshiping the matter they are made of, instead of the Spirit. If we see them as they really are they would not be taken away; they would not suffer if we did not weigh them down with our beliefs in mortality.

How are we to relieve them and ourselves? There is but one way. Declare that we are not looking at or thinking about the flesh and bones, deny away the appearances. Say, the flesh profiteth nothing, amounts to nothing and is no thing, that the Spirit is All. Think of the Spirit as the true, think of the Mind as the true and the matter as but the outpicturing.

Think of them as you do of a book, of its contents but not of the paper, binding, cover or style of type. Think of your loved ones as Free Immortal Spirit. Think of them as you do of the fragrance of roses and the songs of birds, but don't think they are to be confined, any more than fragrance or song can come to states of perfection in hot houses or cages.

When you see them doing things they ought not, send your thoughts to and at them, just as strongly and vehemently as you are capable of. Tell them silently the right way to accomplish the thing, and deny away from them that there is any hope of satisfaction in the way they are looking or seeming to look.

And when you have sent them the right thought, trust that God will take care of them. Your trust in God will be a shield that is thrown around them, if you trust understandingly. It will be a source of strength, if you know in what you are trusting, but it will be a source of weakness if your trust is mixed with distrust or fear.

The understanding of God, Good, Truth, gives one such confidence as Noah had when he built the Ark and went into it with his wife, and sons, and sons' wives. And so we
