God or Mind is a consuming fire in which everything not God, Good, Truth, is burned up.

Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord.

Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord.

The word of God is like fire that burns up everything not in accordance with itself. All we have to do is to stick to the word of God, and as we do, everything not in accordance with it will begin to be burned up; will begin to disappear, for God is a consuming fire.

Immortal Mind is burning up everything that does not seem to be in accordance with itself.

[blocks in formation]

Mind is All. All is Mind.

Mind is Everything. Everything is Mind.

Whatever really is, is Mind.

Mind is One, as God is One.

There is but one Mind, as there is but one God.

All that one sees, hears, feels, tastes and smells is but a sign of something back of it, which it only stands for or represents.

The Immortal for one, may be the mortal for another, and it is for this reason that one cannot fix any limits, cannot say, God is here or there; and if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ, or lo, he is there, believe him not.

God, Christ, Truth is in Everything, if only you are able to discern it, if only you are spiritually Minded. There is no evil. There may seem to be, but in reality there is none. There never was any if God was everywhere. There is none if God is everywhere. There never will be any, if God will be everywhere.

God is Absolute and beside him there is no other. The Immortal Mind is the only Mind there is. The mortal conception seems to be that God is relative, that is, not

absolute or existing by himself; considered as belonging to or respecting something.

God is Mind. Mind is Absolute and beside It there is nothing.

Mind, and there is but one, is not dependent upon matter of any kind for expression, any more than God is dependent upon error or matter; or any more than the object that casts the shadow is dependent upon the shadow for ability to cast the shadow.

If God were dependent upon man for anything, then we might say that Mind was dependent upon matter for something, or that Truth had to get error to help it along, or that Spirit needed something from flesh, or that the object received some support from the shadow.

The true thought is, man needs God and can't get along without Him. Matter needs Mind and is nothing without It. Flesh needs Spirit and profits nothing without It. With God all things are possible. With Mind all things are possible. With Truth all things are possible. In Truth all things are possible. In Mind all things are possible. In God all things are possible.

Let the thought of pure Truth fill you and you will express God in all your ways.

God, Mind, created all things and is the only Creator that ever was or ever will be, for that don't change.

Anyone that knows God, Mind, Truth never need fear anything, in fact he can't fear then.

Come unto Me, ye that are weary and I will give you rest. What or who is this Me that promises such glorious things? It is the only Me there is. It is the only Mind that ever existed. It is the one that said, Thou shalt not make unto

thyself any limits, forms or outlines, for I am not to be confined or defined.

Do not I fill Heaven and earth?

But will God indeed dwell on earth? Behold, the Heaven and Heaven of Heavens cannot contain him; how much less this house that I have builded? Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O Lord my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee today: That thine eyes may be opened towards this house night and day, even towards the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.

I will put my law in their inward part, and write it in their hearts: and will be their God and they shall be my people.

Where does God dwell?

In a pure and contrite heart.

For thus saith the High and Lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the High and Holy Place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

Thus said the Lord, The Heaven is my throne and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all these things hath mine hand made, and all these things have been, saith the Lord, but to this man will I look even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit and trembleth at my word.

Now ye are clean through the Words which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine: no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the

vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my Words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples: As the Father hath Loved me, so have I Loved you: continue ye in my Love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my Love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his Love. Abide means to live, dwell, continuing, permanent, constant.

It is not the flesh, that Jesus has reference to when talking, but it is the Spirit, the Life, the Mind. It is the Spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing: the Words that I speak unto you they are Spirit, they are Life.

It is his Words that are to abide, dwell, live, tarry, continue in us all the time.

His Words are Spirit, his Words are Life.

Words, Spirit and Life are the same, they are interchangeable terms.

His Words, his Life, and his Spirit were other names for one and the same thing. And if his Words and Spirit and Life correspond, then other person's do also, for God is no respector of persons.

Our Words, Spirit and Life then must agree. If this is so, really and truly so, how very careful ought we to be about our Words: for Words are Life, Words are Spirit. And if we use his Words we shall have his Spirit, we shall have his Life.

Our Life will correspond to our Words, our silent or audible Words. Our Spirit will be governed by our Thoughts.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by the Word; and without the Word was not anything made, that was made. In the Word was Life, and the Life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. And the Word was ma le flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld its glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of Grace and Truth. The Word, the Word, the Word of Stick to it for it is full of Grace, Truth and Life. If ye abide in my Words then are ye truly my disciples, and ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free. If a man keep my Words he shall never see death. Thou hast the Words of Eternal Life. Jesus was always speaking the Words of Life, and he is our Guide and Example.

Truth.

In our explanation of the Science, we need not say anything about pain, aches, discords and sickness, for it is not these that we want to know about. We have heard about them all our life here on earth and it is because of talking so much about them that they show forth as they do. We want to put these things quite away, and the best way to do so is to stop talking about them, stop thinking about them, stop reading about them.

Jesus did not tell about the cases he healed, and how very bad they were, and how long they had been troubled and all that; but he told them to keep still, say nothing, or tell about what wonderful things God had done for them: he didn't say anything about them himself, though the ones that were cured were only too glad to do that part.
