An Act for making and maintaining a Road from Great Ancoats Street in the Town of Manchester in the County of Lancaster, to join a Diversion of the Manchester and Saltersbrook Road in Andershaw in the Parish of Ashton-under-Lyne in the said County, and Two Branches of Road communicating therewith. An Act for more effectually repairing several Roads leading from and through the Town of Wiveliscombe in the County of Somerset, and the Roads adjoining thereto in the Counties of Somerset and Devon, and for making a new Line of Road to communicate therewith. An Act for more effectually repairing and improving the Road from Sheffield in the County of York to the Marple Bridge Road in the Parish of Glossop in the County of Derby, and the Branch to Mortimers Road in the Parish of Hathersage in the said County of Derby. An Act for repairing and maintaining the Road from Huddersfield in the West Riding of the County of York to New Hey in the Parish of Rochdale in the County of Lancaster, with a Branch to Toothill Lane in the said Riding, and for making a new Road from Buck Stones to the Highway leading from Ripponden to Stainland, at or near Barkisland School. An Act for more effectually making, amending, and improving the Load from Buck Stones to Barkisland School at the Highway leading from Ripponden to Stainland, and for making and maintaining an Extension of the said Road to join the Halifax and Huddersfield Turnpike Road at the South End of Elland Bridge and a Branch therefrom, all in the West Riding of the County of York. い An Act for making and maintaining a Turnpike Road from Meltham in the Parish of Almondbury to the Greenfield and Shepley Lane Head Turnpike Road, near Wessenden Head, in the Township of Austonley in the West Riding of the County of York. An Act for more effectually repairing and improving so much of the Road leading from the Town of Cheltenham in the County of Gloucester towards the City of Gloucester as lies within the Cheltenham District, and for opening new Communications with such Road. An Act to enable the Trustees of the Road leading from the Town of Cheltenham in the County of Gloucester towards the City of Gloucester to form a new Branch to communicate with the said Road in the Parish of Cheltenham. An An Act to amend so much of Two Acts for repairing the Road 3 & 4 W.4. leading from Cheltenham towards the City of Gloucester, and for c. xc. making a new Branch to communicate with the same, as relates to the Priority of certain Mortgages granted on the Tolls thereof. An Act for amending an Act of His present Majesty, for repairing 7 G. 4. c. xx. the Road from Sandon in the County of Stafford to Bullock Smithy in the County of Chester, and from Hilderstone to Draycot in the Moors, and from Wetley Rocks to Tean, in the County of Stafford, so far as relates to the Macclesfield District of Road, and for making a Diversion of Road in the said District. c. xxviii. An Act for more effectually repairing and improving the Road 7G.4. from the Brighthelmston Road at Pyecombe to Warninglid Cross in the Parish of Cuckfield, and from Pyecombe to the Henfield Road at Poynings Common in the County of Sussex, and for making a new Road from Warninglid Cross to Hand Cross in the said County. An Act for more effectually repairing the Road from Markfield 7 G. 4. Turnpike to the Road leading from Loughborough to Ashby-de-la- c. cxxxiv. Zouch in the County of Leicester. An Act for more effectually repairing the Road from Footscray by 9 G. 4. Wrotham Heath to Maidstone, and from the said Road into the Road c. xviii. from Mereworth to Hadlow, and for making and maintaining a Road from the said Road at Wrotham Heath to Teston, and from the said Road from Mereworth to Hadlow to St. Leonard's Street in the Parish of West Malling, all in the County of Kent. An Act for making and maintaining a Road from Beck Fen Lane 9 G. 4. c. xliv. in the Parish of Mildenhall in the County of Suffolk to the South-east End of the Bridge over the River Ouze in the Parish of Littleport in the Isle of Ely and County of Cambridge, and other Roads therein mentioned in the Counties of Norfolk and Suffolk. And the Acts continued by any of the Acts in this Schedule mentioned. ARRANGEMENT OF CLAUSES. Continuing certain Turnpike Road Acts to 1st October 1851 and to End of then next Session; Sect. 1. Continuing the Acts mentioned in Schedule till 1st November 1851; 2. Trustees or Commissioners of any Turnpike Road may reduce or take off Tolls on Lime used in Agriculture; 3. Extending a certain Provision in 12 & 13 Vict. c. 87. for forming a Sinking Fund to Debts contracted before passing of said Act. Secretary of State may authorize Trustees not to set apart a Sinking Fund. Act not to interfere with Sinking Funds under local Acts; 4. Mortgagees not to enter into Possession while Interest is punctually paid; 5. Repeal of Restriction of Time upon the Union of Turnpike Trusts; 6.
