SUNDAY MORNING.

At Morning Prayers, the father shall read the following verses of Holy Scripture, the family standing:

"CHRIST is risen from the dead, and is become the first-fruits of them that slept."1 Cor. xv. 19.

"This is the Day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

We will go to the house of GOD with the voice of joy and praise; with a multitude that keep holyday."-Ps. cxviii. 24. xlii. 4.

and Earth, and of all that in them is, have mercy on us, and enable us on this day of rest, to worship Thee in spirit and in truth. May it truly be a day of rest to us; a rest from worldly labour and from worldly cares.

Make us devoutly thankful that we have a Church to which we can go, and where, upon our knees, we may confess our sins and pray for mercy.

Make us also thankful that we have a Minister to teach us how to conduct ourselves as Christians, and to administer to us the Holy Sacraments appointed by our blessed SAVIOUR. Grant us grace that we may be thankful for these great blessings, and that we may enter Thy house with humble and grateful hearts, to confess our sins with true repentance, and to listen to Thy word with an honest and good mind; so that having heard the word we may keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience. And thus, by a religious observance of this day of rest, here on earth, may we, through Thy HOLY SPIRIT, be fitted to enjoy an eternal

rest hereafter, in Thy heavenly kingdom. O merciful FATHER, grant these our humble petitions, we beseech Thee, in the name and for the sake of JESUS CHRIST Our SAVIOUR. Amen.

Then shall the father say the Lord's Prayer, the family repeating it after him.

Our FATHER which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation; But deliver usfrom evil: For thine is the kingdom, The power, and the glory, For ever and ever. Amen.

And the father shall say :

Lift up your hearts,

The family answering:

We lift them up unto the LORD;

"Unto Him that loved us, and washed us
