1872.) VIDE FOR THE BETTER GOVERNMENT OF PRISONS IN THIS COLONY."

Enacted 20th December, 1872, published the following

day, came into operation on publication.

[John Scott, Governor.] WHEREAS it is desirable to add to and amend Ordinance No. Preamble. 12 of the year 1862 in manner hereinafter provided : Be it there. , fore enacted by His Escellency the Governor of British Guiana with the advice and consent of the Court of Policy thereof, as follows:

1.
