OTHER CIVIL RIGHTS IN THE COLONY OF BRITISH GUIANA.

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend and make uniform the Preamble.

several Promissory Oaths now required to be taken by different classes of Her Majesty's subjects, as a qualification for the exercise and enjoyment of Offices, Franchises and Civil Rights in the Colony of British Guiana: Be it therefore enacted by His Excellency the Governor of British Guiana with the advice and consent of the Court of Policy thereof, as follows:

1. The oath in this Ordinance referred to as the Oath of Alle- Form of Oath giance, shall be in the form following; that is to say,
