15. In case the Colony shall at any time have to pay any sum of money under and by virtue of the aforesaid guarantee, or in case of default of payment to the Colony by the Mayor and Town Council of any one or more of the said instalments of interest and principal of the loan raised under this Ordinance as and when the same respectively become due and payable, the Colonial Receiver-General, for and on behalf of the Colony, may proceed forthwith, by parate or summary execution, against the Mayor and Town Council, and levy upon the Property, Revenues, Rates, and Taxes, generally, of the Corporation of Georgetown, and recover from the sale or realization thereof the amount of every such sum of money paid under such guarantee, and the amount of every such unpaid instalment of the interest and principal of said last-mentioned loan.

16. [Ord. 19 anno AN ORDINANCE TO RE-ENACT, WITH CERTAIN AMENDMENTS, 1866.] THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE No. 21 OF THE YEAR 1853, INTITULED "AN ORDINANCE FOR INCORPORATING THE “ROYAL AGRICULTURAL AND COMMERCIAL SOCIETY OF "BRITISH GUIANA.”

Preamble.

Enacted 12th November, 1866, published the 24th following, came into operation on publication.

[ROBERT MILLER MUNDY, Lieutenant-Governor.] WHEREAS on the 18th day of March, 1844, a Society was

formed and instituted in this Colony, under the the name of "THE AGRICULTURAL AND COMMERCIAL SOCIETY OF BRITISH GUIANA":
