WHEN I folicited Permiffion to prefix your GRACE'S Name to this small Tract, my Object was-to convince my Readers, that the PRINCIPLES therein contained, are GENUINE DOCTRINES of the CHURCH of ENGLAND; and that the CLERGY of that CHURCH do not think their Province invaded, by the EFFORTS of LAYMEN in the CAUSE of RELIGION.
