Jeffrey Swing Hammer Shredders

[graphic]

Type E Shredder, Size, 42 in. diameter by 54 in. face, for reducing Turpentine Chips. Jeffrey Shredders are built for reducing corncobs, chips and bark, shavings, tobacco leaves and stems, scrap leather, rubber plant, scrap veneer, pasteboard, strawboard, peat, etc.

Two sets of Pulp Lap Shredders that were shipped to a large Western Paper Mill. These Shredders are in general use in Pulp and Paper Mills throughout the country for reducing Dry, Wet and Frozen Pulp Laps for the Beaters.

Type "C" Alfalfa Mill, Size, 36 in. by 24 in. with automatic feeder.

We also make two smaller machines having capacities of 1 ton and from 2 to 3 tons per hour respectively furnished with automatic feed and with air separation when desired.

Jeffrey Screens are used for exact sizing of acid Phosphate, Ores, Quartz, Clay, Carbon, Chemicals, Coal, Coke, Sand, Marble, Plaster, Phosphate Rock, Bone Ash, Trap Rock, Fullers Earth, Fire Clay, Chrome Ore, Limestone, Blood, Graphite, Cement Clinker, Chrome, Cotton Seed Meal, etc.

The driving mechanism is such that the blows causing vibration may be delivered on top or bottom, or alternately on top and bottom of the screen: a distinctive feature in the Jeffrey Vibrating Screen.

Our Testing Department will demonstrate the value of this machine by screening without charge, any material sent to us.

These tests are carefully conducted and will determine the mesh of screen required, the capacity and degree of separation to be expected. In order to make these tests with any degree of accuracy, we should have a sample of about 100 lbs. of the material. These tests are free and do not carry any obligation to buy.

With ordinary materials not more than 2% to 5% of fines remains in the tailings. If the feed is not forced, even closer separation results. The action of the screen is thorough. The tailings are clean. The feed is uniformly distributed across face of screen.

The feed is adjustable for a range wide enough to suit the capacity of the machine for any material. This adjustment is made by simply moving the gate in front of the feed hopper.

Single, double or triple screens may be made by using one, two or three screens.
