Warren Prouty, fire damage. Resolved: That there be, and hereby is, appropriated the sum of five thousand and six hundred dollars, to be paid to said Warren Prouty, the same to be in full for all damages of every kind and description growing out of said fire.

Chapter 62.

Resolve, in Favor of Central Maine Sanatorium for Personal Services, Maintenance, Repairs and Equipment.

Central Maine Sanatorium. Resolved: That there be, and hereby is, appropriated for the Central Maine Sanatorium:

For personal services, namely, for salaries and wages of all officers and employees except those wholly engaged in repairs of buildings and equipment, the sum of forty thousand dollars for the period from July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four; and the sum of forty thousand dollars from July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-four to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five. !

For maintenance, namely, all articles of food and all other materials. supplies and expenses incident to maintenance of the institution and the patients thereof, whether present or absent, the sum of ninety thousand dollars for the period from July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four; and the sum of ninety thousand dollars for the period from July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-four to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five.

For repairs and equipment including costs of all materials and ordinary repairs, the sum of sixteen thousand dollars for the period from July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four; and the sum of sixteen thousand dollars for the period from July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-four to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five.

Chapter 63.

Resolve, in Favor of Western Maine Sanatorium for Personal Services, Maintenance. Repairs and Equipment.

Western Maine Sanatorium, personal services, maintenance, etc. Resolved: That there be, and hereby is, appropriated for the Western Maine Sanatorium for personal services for the year ending June thirtieth, nine

teen hundred and twenty-four the sum of fifty thousand dollars, and for the year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five the sum of fifty thousand dollars; for maintenance for the year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four the sum of eighty-five thousand dollars, and for the year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five, eighty-five thousand dollars; for repairs and equipment for the year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four the sum of fifteen thousand dollars, and for the year ending June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five the sum of fifteen thousand dollars.

Chapter 64.

Resolve, in Favor of Nancy T. Morrill of Madison, for State Pension.

Nancy T. Morrill, state pension. Resolved: That there be paid to Nancy T. Morrill, of Madison, the sum of six dollars per month, payable quarterly, from the fund appropriated for soldiers' pensions, beginning January first, nineteen hundred twenty-three, and continuing for two years.

Chapter 65.

Resolve, Providing a State Pension for Frank A. Choate of Montville.

Frank A. Choate, state pension. Resolved: That there be, and hereby is, appropriated and paid to Frank A. Choate of Montville, a pension of four dollars per month, payable quarterly beginning January first, nineteen hundred twenty-three, and continuing during the pleasure of the legislature and until otherwise ordered.

Chapter 66.

Resolve, in Favor of Miss Edith L. Soule, Repealing Chapter Twenty-six, Resolves of Nineteen Hundred and Twenty-three.

Edith L. Soule, salary. Resolved: That there be, and hereby is, appropriated the sum of eleven hundred dollars, for Miss Edith L. Soule, on account of salary from July fifteen, nineteen hundred and twenty-one, to January first, nineteen hundred and twenty-two. Chapter twenty-six of the resolves of nineteen hundred and twenty-three is hereby repealed.

Resolve, in Favor of Mary S. Hillman, for State Pension.

Mary S. Hillman, state pension. Resolved: That there be paid to Mary S. Hillman of Island Falls, the sum of three hundred dollars per annum, payable quarterly, until further order of the legislature.

Chapter 68.

Resolve, in Favor of Mary E. Ames, of Stockton Springs, for State Pension.

Mary E. Ames, state pension. Resolved: That there be, and hereby is, appropriated the sum of twelve dollars per month for a pension for Mary E. Ames, of Stockton Springs, said pension to be paid during the pleasure of the legislature.

Chapter 69.

Resolve, in Favor of State Pension for Levi Holden.

Levi Holden, state pension. Resolved: That there be paid to Levi Holden of Norway, Maine, the sum of twelve dollars per month, payable quarterly, from the fund appropriated for soldiers' pensions, beginning January first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three, and continuing during the pleasure of the legislature. Which payment shall be in lieu of any other state pension now provided by law.

Chapter 70.

Resolve, to Increase the State Pension of Charles D. Preble of Kittery.

Charles D. Preble, increase of state pension. Resolved: That the pension of ten dollars per month granted to Charles D. Preble of Kittery, under the provisions of chapter one hundred and seventeen of the resolves of nineteen hundred and seventeen, be increased to sixteen dollars per month, commencing January one, nineteen hundred and twenty-three, and continuing during the pleasure of the legislature. Which payment shall be in lieu of any other state pension now provided by law.

Chapter 71.

Resolve, to Increase the Pension of Lester Patten of Hermon.

Lester Patten, increase of state pension. Resolved: That the pension granted to Lester Patten of Hermon, by chapter twenty-five of the resolves of nineteen hundred and fifteen, be increased to twenty dollars per month from January first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three. Said pension shall be in lieu of any other state pension now provided by law.

Resolve, in Favor of the Augusta State Hospital for Maintenance During the Years July First, Nineteen Hundred and Twenty-three to June Thirtieth, Nineteen Hundred and Twenty-four, and July First, Nineteen Hundred and Twenty-four to June Thirtieth, Nineteen Hundred and Twenty-five.

Augusta State Hospital. Resolved: That there be, and hereby is, appropriated for the Augusta State Hospital:

For Personal Services, namely, for salaries and wages of all officers and employees, for two years; July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three, to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, the sum of one hundred sixty-two thousand eight hundred and fifteen dollars; July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five, the sum of one hundred sixty-four thousand three hundred fifteen dollars.

Maintenance, namely, all articles of food, all articles of personal clothing, all materials and supplies required for upkeep of grounds, buildings and attached fixtures, and general expenses for two years; July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three, to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, one hundred seventy-seven thousand five hundred dollars; the period July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five, the sum of one hundred seventyeight thousand five hundred dollars.

Repairs and Equipment, namely, all materials, supplies and labor required for repairs for two years; July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, the sum of forty-two thousand three hundred dollars; July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five, the sum of forty thousand eight hundred dollars. Fifteen hundred dollars of the first year's appropriation to be used for the purchase of a suitable motor truck.

For Interest on Helen A. Gilman Legacy; July first, nineteen hundred and twentythree, to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, the sum of fifty dollars; July first, nineteen hundred and twentyfour to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five, the sum of fifty dollars.

For Interest on the Joseph H. Williams Legacy; July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-three to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, the sum of forty dollars; July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five, the sum of forty dollars.

For Interest on the Robie Trust Fund; July first, nineteen hundred and twentythree, to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, the sum of one hundred and sixty dollars; July first, nineteen hundred and twenty-four, to June thirtieth, nineteen hundred and twenty-five, the sum of one hundred and sixty dollars.
