4. AND whereas by reason of the transfer to the Commissioners of Power to

the said last-mentioned Commissioners, shall be the Commissioners of 20 Public Works in Ireland, as fully and effectually to all intents and pur
poses as the Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland were and existed before the passing of this Aci, and shall be the Commissioners for the execution of the said several Acts hereinbefore recited, and of this Act,
and also of all other Acts for the execution of which the Commis25 sioners of Public Works in Ireland are Commissioners.
5. And be it Enacted, That it shall and may be lawful for the Queen's Power to
appoint other most Excellent Majesty to remove either of the said Commissioners Conmis
sioners in so to be appointed, or any of the Commissioners heretofore appointed, their places
under the said first-recited Act, and in like manner to nominate another and stead. 30 or others in the stead of the person or persons so reinoved, or in the
stead of any of the said Commissioners being removed or dying or resigning: Provided, however, that there shall not be at any one time more than Five Persons Commissioners of Public Works in Ireland for
the execution of the said severally recited Acts, and all other Acts for 35 the execution of which the Commissioners of Public Works shall have been appointed or are the Commissioners.
6. And be it Enacted, That all acts, matters and things which the All acts by

in the execution of an Act passed in the fifty-seventh year of the 5 reign of King GEORGE the Third, and of several subsequent Acts
for amending and extending the same, have been from time to time authorized and empowered to advance and lend to the Commissioners of Her Majesty's Woods, Forests, Land Revenues, Works and
Buildings, for the purposes of the said Acts respectively, divers suns 10 of money in Exchequer Bills, upon such terms and securities, with
such provisions for the repayment thereof, and in such manner as in the same Acts respectively is prescribed or referred to :
And whereas by an Act passed in the Session of Parliament held 5 Vict. c. 9, in the fifth and sixth years of Her present Majesty, intituled, “ An sess. 2. 15 Act to authorize the Advance of Money out of the Consolidated
Fund to a limited Amount, for carrying on Public Works and Fisheries, and Employment of the Poor, and to amend the Acts authorizing the Issue of Exchequer Bills for the like Purposes,” it was enacted,
that, in lieu of the advances theretofore made in Exchequer Bills by 20 the Commissioners for issuing Exchequer Bills for Public Works,
certain sums of money should be advanced for the like purposes out of the Consolidated Fund in manner therein mentioned, and that such advances should be made in manner therein mentioned by the said
