Somali, there was Four Great sultanate before the expedition of Europe to Somalia,these sultanate : was two brother's ruling the nothern part of somali ,one was named Sultan Osman who was ruled Bandar-Qasin now is called punt-land,.the other one was called sultan yousuf who was ruled Hobyo. the remaining two sultanate they were ruling the southern part of Somalia which is lower-juba and upper juba,sultanate Reer Sheikh Mumin and the other sultan ruling Luuq Ganaane,
when the Italian Colony came to Somali ,they had been made agreement with the sulanate to enter there population in a Colony,only sultanate reer sheekh Muumin was refused to enter the people in a Colony but remaining three Sulanate were agreed
