This Club, now in active operation, was formed to supply a want greatly felt in this neighbourhood by Mercantile and Professional Men, for the purpose of providing suitable accommodation for the supply of Viands and Wines at a Moderate Tariff, and the Newspapers and Periodicals.

The Club is a New Substantial Building, and contains a Morning Room, Dining Room, Billiard Room, Smoking and other Rooms, Lavatories, and conveniences only to be found in a Club.

There are also, in another portion of the Building, Arbitration Rooms and about Forty Bed Rooms, of which (though not forming a portion of the Club) the Members may avail themselves.

A copy of the Rules can be had on application.
