Tus volume has been prepared as a continuation of the series known as the Supplements to the Maryland Code. It will be found to contain the Acts of 1870, arranged in Articles and Sections to correspond with the Code, with marginal indexes and references.
The previous Supplements having been favorably received, both by the legal profession and by the general public, and the Supplement of 1861–67 having been, by the Act of 1870, chapter 398, “legalized and made of equal authority in the Courts of this State, with the Acts of the General Assembly therein codified," the Publishers have been encouraged to complete the series with the present volume.
