ERRATUM. A strange error occurred in our February Number. In the article “Towns on the Thames," it was stated, at p. 376, that, “years ago, when Oxford and Cambridge contended at Henley, one of the Cambridge crew was at the last moment taken ill. Oxford, strangely illiberal, declined to accept a substitute. Cambridge started with a crew of seven, and won the race." The names should be reversed. The Cantabs were illiberal; the Oxonians victorious.-ED. T. B.
