CHAP. 176.-An Act Granting pensions and increase of pensions to certain soldiers and sailors of the Civil War and certain widows and dependent children of soldiers and sailors of said war.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws

The name of John W. Turner, late of Company I, Fourth Regiment West Virginia Volunteer Cavalry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

The name of John Eastman, late of Company H, Fourth Regiment New York Volunteer Heavy Artillery, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty-four dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

The name of John Mulligan, late of Company F, Seventh Regiment United States Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twentyfour dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.

The name of Jacob Cooper, late of Company I, One hundred and forty-ninth Regiment Ohio Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of thirty dollars per month in lieu of that he is now receiving.
