13 ἐσκανδαλίσθησαν; ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπε, Πᾶσα φυτεία, ἣν οὐκ ἐφύτευσεν ὁ πατήρ μου ὁ οὐράνιος, ἐκριζωθήσε14ται. ἄφετε αὐτούς· ὁδηγοί εἰσι τυφλοὶ τυφλῶν· τυφλὸς

δὲ τυφλὸν ἐὰν ὁδηγῇ, ἀμφότεροι εἰς βόθυνον πεσοῦνται. 15 Αποκριθεὶς δὲ ὁ Πέτρος εἶπεν αὐτῷ, Φράσον ἡμῖν τὴν 16 παραβολὴν ταύτην. ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν, Ακμὴν καὶ ὑμεῖς 18 17 ἀσύνετοί ἐστε; οὔπω νοεῖτε, ὅτι πᾶν τὸ εἰσπορευόμενον 19

εἰς τὸ στόμα, εἰς τὴν κοιλίαν χωρεῖ, καὶ εἰς ἀφεδρῶνα 18 ἐκβάλλεται; τὰ δὲ ἐκπορευόμενα ἐκ τοῦ στόματος, ἐκ 20 19 τῆς καρδίας ἐξέρχεται, κἀκεῖνα κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον. ἐκ 21

γὰρ τῆς καρδίας ἐξέρχονται διαλογισμοὶ πονηροί, φόνοι, μοιχεῖαι, πορνείαι, κλοπαὶ, ψευδομαρτυρίαι, βλασφημίαι. 2ο ταῦτά ἐστι τὰ κοινοῦντα τὸν ἄνθρωπον· τὸ δὲ ἀνίπτοις 23 χερσὶ φαγεῖν, οὐ κοινοῖ τὸν ἄνθρωπον.

21 Καὶ ἐξελθὼν ἐκεῖθεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς, ἀνεχώρησεν εἰς τὰ 24 22 μέρη Τύρου καὶ Σιδῶνος. καὶ ἰδοὺ γυνὴ Χαναναία ἀπὸ 25 τῶν ὁρίων ἐκείνων ἐξελθοῦσα, ἐκραύγασεν αὐτῷ λέγουσα, Ἐλέησόν με κύριε υἱὲ Δαβίδ· ἡ θυγάτηρ μου κακῶς δαι23 μονίζεται. ὁ δὲ οὐκ ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῇ λόγον. καὶ προσελ

θόντες οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ, ἠρώτων αὐτὸν λέγοντες, ̓Από24 λυσον αὐτὴν, ὅτι κράζει ὄπισθεν ἡμῶν. ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν, Οὐκ ἀπεστάλην εἰ μὴ εἰς τὰ πρόβατα τὰ ἀπολω‐ 25 λότα οἴκου Ισραήλ. ἡ δὲ ἐλθοῦσα προσεκύνει αὐτῷ λέ26 γουσα, Κύριε βοήθει μοι. ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν, Οὐκ 27 ἔστι καλὸν λαβεῖν τὸν ἄρτον τῶν τέκνων, καὶ βαλεῖν 27 τοῖς κυναρίοις. ἡ δὲ εἶπε, Ναὶ κύριε· καὶ γὰρ τὰ κυνάρια 28 ἐσθίει ἀπὸ τῶν ψιχίων τῶν πιπτόντων ἀπὸ τῆς τραπέζης 28 τῶν κυρίων αὐτῶν. τότε ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν 29 αὐτῇ, Ω γύναι, μεγάλη σου ἡ πίστις· γενηθήτω σοι ὡς θέλεις. καὶ ἰάθη ἡ θυγάτηρ αὐτῆς ἀπὸ τῆς ὥρας 30 ἐκείνης.

29 Καὶ μεταβὰς ἐκεῖθεν ὁ Ἰησοῦς, ἦλθε παρὰ τὴν θά-31 λασσαν τῆς Γαλιλαίας καὶ ἀναβὰς εἰς τὸ ὄρος, ἐκάθητο 30 ἐκεῖ. καὶ προσῆλθον αὐτῷ ὄχλοι πολλοί, ἔχοντες μεθ ̓ ἑαυτῶν χωλούς, τυφλούς, κωφούς, κυλλοὺς καὶ ἑτέρους πολλοὺς, καὶ ἔρριψαν αὐτοὺς παρὰ τοὺς πόδας τοῦ Ἰησοῦ· καὶ ἐθεράπευσεν αὐτοὺς, ὥστε τοὺς ὄχλους θαυμάσαι, βλέποντας κωφοὺς λαλοῦντας, κυλλοὺς ὑγιεῖς, χωλοὺς

χαριστήσας ἔκλασε, καὶ ἔδωκε τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ, οἱ 37 δὲ μαθηταὶ τῷ ὄχλῳ. Καὶ ἔφαγον πάντες, καὶ ἐχορ-8 τάσθησαν· καὶ ἦραν τὸ περισσεύον τῶν κλασμάτων ἑπτὰ 38 σπυρίδας πλήρεις. οἱ δὲ ἐσθίοντες ἦσαν τετρακισχίλιοι 9 ἄνδρες, χωρὶς γυναικῶν καὶ παιδίων.

σαῖοι καὶ Σαδδουκαῖοι, πειράζοντες ἐπηρώτησαν αὐτὸν 2 σημεῖον ἐκ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἐπιδεῖξαι αὐτοῖς. ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Οψίας γενομένης λέγετε, Εὐδία· πυρ3 ράζει γὰρ ὁ οὐρανός. καὶ πρωί, Σήμερον χειμών πυρράζει γὰρ στυγνάζων ὁ οὐρανός. ὑποκριταὶ, τὸ μὲν πρόσωπον τοῦ οὐρανοῦ γινώσκετε διακρίνειν, τὰ δὲ σημεῖα τῶν 4 καιρῶν οὐ δύνασθε; γενεὰ πονηρὰ καὶ μοιχαλίς σημεῖον 12 ἐπιζητεῖ· καὶ σημεῖον οὐ δοθήσεται αὐτῇ, εἰ μὴ τὸ σημεῖον Ἰωνᾶ τοῦ προφήτου. καὶ καταλιπὼν αὐτοὺς, ἀπῆλθε.

5 Καὶ ἐλθόντες οἱ μαθηταὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ πέραν, ἐπελά- 14 σθοντο ἄρτους λαβεῖν. ὁ δὲ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, Ὁρᾶτε 15 καὶ προσέχετε ἀπὸ τῆς ζύμης τῶν Φαρισαίων καὶ Σαδ† δουκαίων. οἱ δὲ διελογίζοντο ἐν ἑαυτοῖς λέγοντες, Ὅτι 16 8 ἄρτους οὐκ ἐλάβομεν. γνοὺς δὲ ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, 17 Τί διαλογίζεσθε ἐν ἑαυτοῖς ὀλιγόπιστοι, ὅτι ἄρτους οὐκ 9 ἐλάβετε; οὔπω νοεῖτε, οὐδὲ μνημονεύετε τους πέντε 18 ἄρτους τῶν πεντακισχιλίων, καὶ πόσους κοφίνους ἐλάτο 3 ὑποκριταί om. ̓Απὸ τότε ἤρξατο ὁ Ἰησοῦς δεικνύειν τοῖς μαθηταῖς 31 1 αὐτοῦ, ὅτι δεῖ αὐτὸν ἀπελθεῖν εἰς Ἱεροσόλυμα, καὶ πολλὰ παθεῖν ἀπὸ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων καὶ ἀρχιερέων καὶ γραμματέων, καὶ ἀποκτανθῆναι, καὶ τῇ τρίτῃ ἡμέρα ἐγερθῆναι. 22 καὶ προσλαβόμενος αὐτὸν ὁ Πέτρος, ἤρξατο ἐπιτιμᾷν 32 αὐτῷ λέγων, λεώς σοι κύριε οὐ μὴ ἔσταί σοι τοῦτο. 23 ὁ δὲ στραφεὶς εἶπε τῷ Πέτρῳ, Ὕπαγε ὀπίσω μου Σατανᾶ, 33 σκάνδαλόν μου εἶ· ὅτι οὐ φρονεῖς τὰ τοῦ Θεοῦ, ἀλλὰ 24τὰ τῶν ἀνθρώπων. Τότε ὁ Ἰησοῦς εἶπε τοῖς μαθηταῖς 34 αὐτοῦ, Εἴ τις θέλει ὀπίσω μου ἐλθεῖν, ἀπαρνησάσθω ἑαυτὸν, καὶ ἀράτω τὸν σταυρὸν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἀκολουθείτω 25 μοι. ὃς γὰρ ἂν θέλῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ σῶσαι, ἀπολέσει 35 24 αὐτήν· ὃς δ ̓ ἂν ἀπολέσῃ τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ ἕνεκεν ἐμοῦ,
