To dwell on the freeness and fulness of Divine grace is sweet to the heart of the Christian; to see that grace displayed in the conversion of lost, miserable sinners, is far more sweet. It is the privilege of faith to trace its progress and effects from the first moment that it dawns upon the unenlightened soul, till its own brightness is swallowed up in the splendour of meridian glory.

Although the bringing in of any sinner to the Redeemer's fold is matter of thanksgiving on earth and joy in heaven; there are circumstances attendant on the conversion of some more highly-favoured persons that excite in
