IN In consequence of some remarks made in critiques on the former part of this Volume, the reader is again reminded, that the differences between the rendering in the text, and that given in the notes, are not accidental, but intentional. The text is an English Version, conformed to English idiom: while the notes put the reader in possession, as well as our tongue will allow, of the original form of the expression.
