An Act for the further Improvement of the Harbour of Carnarvo See former Act, in the County of Carnarvon, and for other Purposes relating thereto. [28th April 1809.]

[Former Duties repealed, and new Duties granted.] XXXVII. And be it further enacted, That all and every Perfon and Perfons whomfoever, who fhall at any Time or Times hereafter wilfully or defignedly demolish, break down, or deftroy any of the faid Wet or Dry Docks, Piers, Quays, Wharfs, Warehouses, Buildings, Erections, or any of them, or any of the Works which shall be conftructed under this Act, or which fhall belong to the faid Harbour, or fhall wilfully or defignedly extinguish or put out any of the Lights ufed in or belonging to the faid Harbour for the Safety or Protection of the Ships or other Veffels reforting to the fame, fhall be deemed guilty of Felony; and the Court by and before whom fuch Perfon o Perfons fhall be tried and convicted, fhall have Power and Authority to caufe fuch Perfon or Perfons to be tranfported for the Term of Seven Years, or in Mitigation of Punishment may award Sentence of Fine or Imprisonment, at the Difcretion of the Judge or Judges before whom fuch Offender or Offenders fhall be tried and convicted.

LV. And be it further enacted, That if any Person or Perfona fhall Punishment wilfully and maliciously eut, break down, demolish, or deftroy any for deftroying Bank, Mill, Engine, Dam, Floodgate, Bridge, Sluice or Tunnel al- Works, ready made, or which fhall at any Time hereafter be made or erected, Felony, &c. fupported, maintained or ufed for anfwering any of the Purpofes of this Act, every Perfon fo offending and being convicted thereof fhall be deemed guilty of Felony, and the Court before whom fuch Perfon fhall be tried and convicted fhall have Power and Authority to cause fuch Perfon or Perfons to be tranfported for Seven Years, or in Mitigation of fuch Punishment may award fuch Sentence as the Law directs in Cafes of Petit Larceny.
