White FearIt is the early 1980s, and Don MacRobert finds himself in Soweto during the height of apartheid in South Africa and its abuse of human rights. It is here where he sees first-hand how systems of oppression have forced the majority of the nation’s population into abject poverty and without the means to provide beyond the basics of survival. Afraid and uncertain, but determined and not alone, Don seeks to overcome his fear – as well as that of the ruling government at the time – in order to bring about greater opportunities for some of the country’s poorest and most oppressed people. |
