About the author (2009)

After a long and successful career working as an RN in Labor-Delivery and Neonatal Intensive Care, Myra Savant-Harris saw a need for dog breeders to be given more information about human reproductive health care and how it could be applied to canine reproductive health care. She is the well-known author of two books, Puppy Intensive Care and Canine Reproduction and Whelping. Myra and her husband, Doug Harris, travel coast to coast in the US and Canada, giving informative and entertaining seminars on how to breed dogs and keep puppies alive. They live in Washington state and have bred and shown Cavalier King Charles Spaniels for many years.
