About the author (1991)

Aziz Nesin was one of the most popular Turkish writers of all time and winner of many international awards before his death in 1995. His novels and short stories cover an impressive range of subjects and are animated by his unique and satirical wit. He established the charitable Nesin Foundation to fund the education and care of homeless and destitute children.
