John Barrow updated in 1804 this version of his travels. The version under review has anthropological notes while the 1804 version included statistics of the colonist populations and livestock numbers and was written for a different patron and purpose.
Although I can access the 1804 version electronically thru Google Books, I cannot download and the copy reverts to 1801.
The 1801 version is also available in replica format from Elibron Classics.
