So I decided that if I was actually contributing original thoughts to the collective knowledge in the marketplace of ideas, then that would be justification enough .Mr. Hitt (remarkable high school English teacher) would approve. When I was a boy in elementary and middle school, our school library had one whole long shelf of little blue biographies. I checked out and read every one of those books. I never doubted for a minute that someday they would write a book about me and put it on that shelf.
